Day of Non-Violence and Peace

Durante toda la semana hemos realizado diferentes actividades para trabajar sobre el Día de la Paz y la No Violencia. Hemos visto vídeos en clase, organizado debates, realizado una gymkana y diferentes carteles. Ha sido una gran semana.

We have watched videos, we have organised debates, we have done a gymkhana and different posters. It has been a great weed.

New Year's Resolutions

¡Feliz año nuevo! Hoy vamos a explicar qué es un propósito. Un propósito es una promesa que te haces a tí mismo para mejorar o ayudar a otros. Por ejemplo: comer sano, usar palabras positivas, leer más libros o escuchar  a nuestros padres. Algunos estudiante han realizado sus propósitos y aquí compartimos algunos de ellos.

Happy New Year! Today we are going to explain what resolution is.  A resolution is a promise you make to yourself to be better or help others. For example: eat healthy, use positive words, read more books or listen to our parents. Some students have realised their resolutions and here we put some of them.

Feliz Navidad - Merry Christmas

Durante la última semana de clase hemos recibido la visita del cartero real, desayunado churros con chocolate, disfrutado de un concierto de villancicos y asistido a la final de la liga de fútbol. 6º A fue el ganador. También vimos como algunos estudiantes recibían medallas y diplomas gracias a la liga de fútbol y al concurso de tarjetas de Navidad.
Los maestros y alumnos/as del Manuel Siurot os deseamos una Feliz Navidad.

Last week, we have received the visit of Three Wise Men's helper, we have breakfast "Chocolate with churros", we have enjoyed of a Christmas carol concert and we have gone to the final of football league. Also we have see like some students were awarded with medals and diplomas. Some of them were given thanks to the football league and others thanks to Christmas cards competition.

Día Internacional de las Personas con Discapacidad y Día de la Constitución

El 3 de diciembre celebramos el Día Internacional de las Personas con Discapacidad. Por este motivo, todo el alumnado del centro ha colaborado en la realización de una reproducción de un cuadro de Vasili Kandinski.

On 3rd of December we have celebrated "International Day of Person with Disabilities" For this reason, all the students have collaborated reproducing a Vasili Kandinski's painting.

El 4 de diciembre celebramos el Día de la Constitución. Todos la trabajamos en clase: haciendo banderas, elaborando un rap sobre los derechos y deberes o un periódico. Luego, todos salimos al patio para escuchar el himno y subir la bandera.

On 4th of December we have celebrated "Constitution Day". Everybody have worked at class: making flags, preparing a rap song about rights and duties. Later, we have gone playground in order to listen the anthem and raise the flag.

 

              

Día internacional contra la violencia de género

El 25 de noviembre hemos celebrado "El día internacional contra la violencia de género" Cada clase ha ido realizando actividades sobre el tema a lo largo de la semana y, el miércoles, formamos un gran lazo humano en el patio.

On 25th of November we have celebrated "International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women" Each class has done different activities about this day during the week and, on Wednesday, we made a human bow in the playground.

Siurot Zoo

Los alumnos de 3º han preparado un zoo en clase. Han enseñado al alumnado de infantil y primer ciclo sus trabajos y les han explicado las características de los animales.

Third level students have prepared a zoo at class. They have teached to pre-school students and first and second level pupils their project and they have explained them animals characteristic.
