II Olimpiadas Escolares

Last Friday, we celebrated 2nd School Olympics. Student could participate in different events: resistance, speed, jump or shot put. It was a nice day!

El pasado viernes celebramos las II Olimpiadas Escolares. El alumnado podia participar en diferentes pruebas: resistencia, velocidad, salto o lanzamiento de peso. ¡Fue un gran día!

Certamen Platero

El jueves 27 de abril celebramos el XXII Certamen Platero. Este año hemos visto la obra "Platero en el cine o en la encina" En la obra hemos recordado bandas sonoras de películas y series conocidas. Luego se han entregado los premios. El viernes lo celebramos para el alumnado del centro. Compartimos algunas fotos.

On Thursday 27th April we have celebrated 22nd Platero's Contest. This year we have seen the play "Platero in the cinema or in the holm oak" In this play we have remembered the soundtracks of famous films and series. On Friday we have celebrated it for the students of the school. We share some photos.

I Sport Exchange "Manuel Siurot"

Last 5th April we celebrated the I Intercambio Deportivo La Roda de Andalucía - Los Corrales. 

We divided the playground into three zones (football, chuteball and basketball) and the boys and girls could play and they had a great time. They also met new friends. It was an amazing experience. 

Excursión a Sevilla

El lunes 27 de marzo estuvimos de visita en Sevilla. Fuimos a La Maestranza y vimos la ópera "Allegro Vivace". Después visitamos la Giralda y, por último, Las Setas. ¡Fue un gran día!

On 27th March we visited Seville. We went to La Maestranza and we saw the opera "Allegre Vivace" Then, we visited "La Giralda" and, finally, "Las Setas" It was a great day!

CHUTEBOL

Today we have celebrated the CHUTEBOL finals. 

Firstly the group four A beat group four B (4-2). It was an amazing match.

Secondly the group six A beat group five A (4-3).

Soon we are going to celebrate a new championship. 

International Women's Day

Today it's the International Women's Day. Students' mothers and fathers are coming at class in order to explain their jobs and their daily responsibilities. Pupils are enjoying this experience. Thanks you!

Hoy es el Día Internacional de la Mujer. Las madres y padres del alumnado están viniendo a clase para explicar sus trabajos y responsabilidades diarias. Los estudiantes están disfrutando esta experiencia. ¡Gracias!

School Day of Non-violence and Peace

Today we have celebrated School Day of Non-violence and Peace. Students have prepared different activities related with this issue. 3rd level students have read a manifest in favour of peace. 4th level pupils have prepared different projects about countries are in a state of war.  Then we have sung "happy birthday" in different languages while students have prepared a big cake and some presents using different materials. Finally, students of 5th and 6th level have sung the song "What a wonderful world"

Hoy hemos celebrado el Día de la Paz y la No Violencia. Los estudiantes han preparado diferentes actividades relacionadas con esta temática. Los alumnos de 3º han leído un manifiesto a favor de la par y los de cuarto han preparado diferentes proyectos sobre países en guerra. Luego, hemos cantado el "cumpleaños feliz" en diferentes idiomas mientras el alumnado preparaba una gran tarta y regalos hechos de diferentes materiales. Finalmente, el alumnado de 5º y 6º han cantado la canción "What a wonderful world"
